During the second week of the season, players faced a series of engaging missions and events, each unlocking at different times to enhance gameplay and progression.

The week kicked off with a hero promotion event, requiring players to complete specific tasks to upgrade their heroes to UR status. This involved achieving certain milestones, which unlocked new skills for heroes, thereby boosting their combat effectiveness. The rewards for this mission included a reward chest that could be unlocked once the collective activity points of the warzone reached the designated goal. Notably, an additional event was introduced where players could gain bonus experience points from level swapping, starting right from day one, regardless of the listed weekly events.

Subsequently, the Crimson Legion launched an attack, prompting players to defend their city. The mission goal was to repel the invasion, and successful defense contributed to unlocking a reward chest through collective effort. Declaring war against the Crimson Legion was a critical component, encouraging strategic coordination among players.

The season also introduced new city levels, beginning with level 3 unlocks. The objective was to reach this milestone, which then unlocked further city development options. Similarly, reaching level 4 unlocked additional city features and progressed the overall game environment. Each city unlock mission had its own reward chest goal, achieved by accumulating activity points through collective player actions.

All four missions shared common elements:

  • A reward chest goal, which required the entire warzone to perform activities to gather points. Once achieved, the reward chest was unlocked.
  • A mission goal, defining the primary objective for players to complete, often tied to season events or overall game progression.

These missions collectively fostered teamwork and strategic planning, ensuring that players engaged actively throughout the second week to unlock rewards, upgrade their heroes, defend their city, and expand their territory.

The second week kicks off with a new mission on the very first day.

This primary event is set to run continuously for a span of six weeks, totaling 42 days.

Players can access both the reward chest and the mission objectives right from the start, without any delay.

It's worth noting that in newer servers, Mason can be upgraded during Season 2 as well.

Players will have a 42-day window to elevate Mason to UR status.

Understanding the upgrade process is crucial to weigh its advantages and disadvantages effectively.

Before proceeding with Mason's upgrade, consider this handy tip to optimize duel points through the upgrade.

Upgrade details:

https://c2c.fp.guinfra.com/file/6966d962dea1c47ebcbbf6a90iRFGONQ03

Achieving a 5-star rating for Mason is a prerequisite for his promotion to UR status.

Upon upgrading, Mason's star level will reset to 3 stars, necessitating re-investment for future enhancements.

All of Mason’s skills will revert to level 1, with new skills introduced post-upgrade—details are provided in the subsequent section.

Importantly, Mason’s hero level, gained through experience, remains unaffected by this process.

Current buffs associated with Mason’s Wall of Fame level will be lost following the upgrade.

Regarding refunds:

Any shards used to elevate Mason to 5 stars are non-refundable.

Additionally, shards spent on Mason’s promotion within the Wall of Honor are not eligible for reimbursement.

Mason Upgrade and Event Guide

All skill medals that were previously allocated to Mason's abilities will now be fully reimbursed and delivered directly to your in-game mailbox.

Following the upgrade, players will have the opportunity to enhance Mason's star rating by utilizing specific promotion options:

https://c2c.fp.guinfra.com/file/6966d9644f01493ced21f2836gti31c803

https://c2c.fp.guinfra.com/file/6966d967dbe1c50618d0f535bMtgak8e03

When upgrading Mason to UR, note that the shard cost doubles, totaling 1600 shards needed to elevate him from 3-star to 5-star.

Key insights are highlighted in the accompanying video, which demonstrates several crucial points:

First, all skills are reset during the upgrade process, but players are refunded the skill medals used, allowing redistribution on preferred skills or even on different heroes. It’s important to remember that skill medals invested in SSR heroes cost about 90% of what’s required for UR heroes, so an SSR Mason at level 20-20-20 may not suffice to reach the same skill levels after upgrading.

Second, expect a significant decrease in Mason’s overall power and attribute stats—except for command—when viewed post-upgrade. A detailed comparison in the video illustrates this drop clearly.

Additionally, a clever trick is shown for maximizing Mason’s UR upgrade efficiency and boosting duel points, which can be a game-changer in competitive play.

Be aware of a known glitch: immediately after the upgrade, Mason’s attributes may temporarily display as the pre-upgrade values. The edited video clarifies this by showing his actual new stats.

It’s also worth noting that during the upgrade, Mason’s star level temporarily drops to zero in the video; however, following the latest update on June 5th, 2024, Mason will instead be upgraded directly to 3 stars without this step. The video could not be updated for this change because the upgrade was performed beforehand.

In the demonstration, gear was removed to prevent it from influencing attribute calculations, ensuring a clear view of the upgrade effects.

The player received a refund of 530 Mason shards, based on their level 53 honor wall contribution (each level grants 10 shards).

Finally, despite Mason appearing at 0 stars initially, the recent update ensures he begins at 3 stars after upgrade, aligning with the new rules.

Choose two heroes to exchange their experience levels.

This exchange affects their overall level but does not alter their star rating. When levels are swapped, skills unlocked at certain levels may become temporarily inaccessible, but increasing a hero's level can unlock those skills again.

It’s important to note that this process only changes the experience level; the star rating remains unchanged. For example, Tesla might increase to level 143 but still hold only part of a star, while Scarlett drops to level 1 but retains a full star plus a fraction.

The second week kicks off with an urgent mission that begins on the second day, lasting for a total of 18 days. Immediately upon initiation, players can access both reward chests and mission objectives without delay.

The queen, filled with fury, orders the Crimson Legion to launch a fierce counteroffensive. Although the mission is set in motion right away, the Legion's actual assault is postponed, as indicated by the countdown timer at the bottom of the event interface.

Scheduled attacks from the Crimson Legion occur twice weekly—on Tuesdays and Fridays—and target alliance-controlled cities. These assaults can happen regardless of whether a city is currently protected or not. Before each attack, the Legion will announce its intended targets, giving alliances time to prepare defenses.

Successful repulsion of these attacks grants rewards to the alliance, with better rewards awarded for defending against multiple waves. However, if defenses fail, the attacking Legion will inflict damage on the city. Should a city's durability fall to zero, it will be considered lost and will revert to Legion control.

The initial attack from the Crimson Legion is set for Tuesday, marking the beginning of the weekly assault cycle during week 2.

https://c2c.fp.guinfra.com/file/6966d9941d783422f50115a3djcQ73k903

Crimson Legion Invasion Overview

As the countdown timer for the Crimson Legion's impending assault on the alliance city hits zero, players will be notified of the targeted city and the precise timing of the attack, which will commence after a 12-hour delay.

The assault will unfold in multiple waves, totaling 30, each escalating in strength, with a one-minute interval between them. The entire invasion is expected to last over half an hour.

Initial enemy forces originate from a city still under the control of the Crimson Queen and will march towards your city to commence their attack. To bolster defenses, players can dispatch reinforcements, with a maximum of 20 units per reinforcement.

With each new Crimson Legion event, the enemy's power level will see an increase, making subsequent attacks more formidable.

By the second attack on day five of week two, the enemy's combat potency will have grown significantly, presenting a greater challenge for defenders.

https://c2c.fp.guinfra.com/file/6966d997f2aab8aa8be1ba4bmF4GufwZ03

Over the course of weeks three and four, the Crimson Legion launched multiple formidable assaults on the city, with their attack strength escalating significantly over time.

On day two of week three, their third assault saw their power surge from 11.8 million to 21.4 million.

By day five of the same week, their attack had intensified further, reaching a peak of 26.4 million.

Continuing into week four, the fifth attack on day two pushed their force to nearly 30 million, at 29.9 million.

The subsequent attack on day five of week four marked an even greater threat, with power levels climbing beyond previous records.

A comprehensive video captures these intense battles, focusing on critical moments such as:

  • The initiation of the assault
  • Multiple waves of Crimson Legion forces advancing
  • The impact on reinforcement efforts
  • Rewards earned after defeating each wave
  • Leaderboard rankings reflecting the ongoing struggle
  • The final scene showing the city remaining under alliance control after over 30 minutes of combat

It's important to note that if the Crimson Legion succeed in capturing the city, control reverts to them, and a 7-day protection period begins.

Participating alliances can benefit from the battle by claiming rewards proportional to the number of waves they withstand—regardless of whether they directly engage in reinforcements.

During the ongoing season, players across all warzones unite their efforts to secure a total of ten level 2 cities. This collaborative objective encourages strategic coordination and teamwork among different factions to achieve collective success in city conquest.

The second week kicks off with a new challenge on day three, introducing a mission that players can embark upon to advance their progress.

Immediately upon starting, players gain access to a reward chest, offering instant rewards for early engagement. However, the primary objective of the mission—securing level 3 cities—remains locked for a day, becoming available only on the following day.

This mission structure closely mirrors previous city unlocking events, but with a key difference: the focus shifts to capturing military strongholds. The goal of capturing a total of ten military strongholds is a collective effort, requiring all participating warzones to work together.

While the reward chest is accessible immediately, players must wait until day four to undertake the main task of city conquest, fostering strategic coordination across all warzones involved.

New Mission and City Unlocks

The upcoming mission kicks off on the fourth day of the second week, offering players a new set of objectives to complete.

Participants can access the reward chest immediately upon starting, providing instant incentives for engagement.

However, the main challenge—securing level 4 cities—remains postponed for three days, becoming available on the seventh day of the second week.

This mission structure closely mirrors previous city unlock events, with a key distinction: the early reward chest focus is on capturing level 3 cities, which players can achieve right away.

To succeed, all participating warzones must unite efforts to conquer a total of ten cities at level 3, setting the stage for future advancements.
