I've burned an unhealthy number of evenings on Season 1 since it landed, and the omnimovement shift made every match feel like it's stuck on fast-forward. If you want to test builds without losing your mind in full sweat lobbies, a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby can be a handy way to get a feel for recoil and sprint-to-fire timing. None of this is pulled from neat little damage charts, either. It's the stuff that holds up when you're getting collapsed on, caught mid-slide, and still need to win the next two gunfights.
1) PPSh-41
The PPSh-41 is the "walk in, delete a room" pick. You'll notice it straight away on tight maps and inside buildings, where the fire rate just doesn't give people time to breathe. The catch is ammo. If you don't run the 71-round drum, you're reloading at the worst moment, every time. I like the Task Force barrel with an Agency Suppressor so it doesn't fall apart the second someone backs up a few steps, and Raider Stock keeps you moving like you mean it. Play it like a bully. Push, break doors, keep the pace, and expect to tank explosives—Bulletproof Vest pays for itself.
2) CR-56 AMAX
The AMAX is back in a way that actually matters. After the damage bump, it's the rifle I trust when I'm anchoring lanes in Search & Destroy and I can't afford a "maybe." The visual recoil is odd, though. It'll look like it's bouncing even when it's not, so don't be stubborn—Commando Foregrip and the Axial Arms 3x clean up the feel. Hold your angle, aim upper chest, and don't overpeek. A bit of patience plus High Alert and a well-timed smoke will steal rounds you had no right winning.
3) FFAR 1 and 4) KSV
The FFAR 1 is pure panic energy. It's the gun you pull when your team's getting flooded and you need a fast answer, not a perfect one. Field Agent Grip is non-negotiable because the kick gets silly, and the Fast Mag 50 keeps you in the fight when you're sprinting between hills. Then there's the KSV, which feels borderline rude on smaller maps. Reinforced long barrel helps it stay consistent, No Stock makes you glide, and that speed messes with tracking—especially when you're snapping into a slide and taking the first shot. Ghost plus a silencer lets you keep doing it without lighting up every radar.
5) LC10
The LC10 is the one I'd call "complete." It handles like an SMG but doesn't freak out when you take a longer lane, which is rare right now. Task Force barrel, Agency Suppressor, Microflex LED—done. You don't spend the whole match wrestling recoil, so you can focus on timing and routes instead. People will swear it's "not that bad" until you beam them while they're holding an AR heady. If you're trying to dial it in fast, running a cheap CoD BO7 Bot Lobby for a bit can help you lock the feel, then you take it into ranked and let it do what it does best.
